Sara was relaxing at home when she heard the door open.
Im starving her dad shouted. Whats for dinner
Come here, Dad Im in the bathroom, Sara replied. I was just getting ready to take a shower.
When her dad walked in, he saw Sara wearing a pair of white leggings she loved and remarked
Sweetie, those leggings look really nice
Sara laughed and confessed
Dad, I ll be honest with you. I was feeling incredibly lazy. I spent the whole day snacking and watching TV, so I didnt prepare a thing.
Nothing? But Im absolutely starving
Sara, looking very confident, told him
Relax. Come here. Ive got something youre going to love, and itll fill you right up.
Her dad followed her trustingly, and to his surprise, Sara appeared with her emergency solution and started feeding him right from her hand.
Bite after bite, he ate until he was completely satisfied.
He looked at her and said
Well, Sara. I don't know what that was, but I'm full.
Sara replied proudly
See? Sleeping all day had to be good for something.
And when her dad asked exactly what he had eaten, Sara burst out laughing
The dinner I found in the fridge! Because actually cooking well, that was just too much effort.
